We have an excellent, direct hire opportunity for a C++ Developer! Interested candidates must have 5-10 years of development experience with 3-5+ of those years to include C++ (development / Windows platform).
Responsibilities:

Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements

Work with project teams to define and design scope for each project

Assist in making recommendations for buy VS build decisions based on requirements and expected system features

Provide design recommendations, developing and integrating programs per written specifications

Occasionally responsible for writing moderate to complex design specifications

Translate business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications for application code and modules

Prepare and present status updates for various projects

Make moderate to complex modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards

Develop software application modules using disciplined software development processes

Perform unit testing and implement application modules from multiple systems the team has developed or modified, ensuring application meets needs of client and business

Provide assistance in researching new and emerging technologies

Work with vendors to understand technology

Evaluate new tools, technologies and platforms

May have cost responsibility for own team/project, and/or contributes to forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure without being fully accountable for them

Identify ways to improve the operation of own area and to achieve efficiencies and results
